engaging video-based course from Sign2Go designed for beginners. Whether you
are looking to communicate with Deaf friends, support inclusivity in the

foundation in British Sign Language (BSL).
Through clear, practical video lessons led by qualified Deaf

For your final task, you’ll bring together the skills you’ve developed throughout the course by recording a short BSL presentation. In a video (1–2 minutes), you should:
• Introduce yourself (name, age, where you’re from)
• Talk about your daily routine or a recent day
• Mention your hobbies or interests
• Describe a family member or pet
• Comment on the weather or a recent celebration
Use full sentences, appropriate facial expressions, and a range of vocabulary covered in the course. This is your chance to demonstrate your confidence, clarity, and understanding of BSL Level 1. Submit your video through the course platform to receive personalised feedback and your completion certificate.
